  • Account Creation Information: To create an account, you must provide your first name, birthdate, gender, gender preference, search objective (sexual orientation), height, email, profile picture, profile video, interests, and your chosen city location.
  • Optional Profile Information: You can also optionally provide your body type, skin tone, eye color, eye size, hair length, dressing style, and grooming style, as well as your preferences for these attributes in a match.
  • Location Data: We collect your location data to match you with people nearby. You can provide one-time GPS access to find your nearest city, or you can manually select a city. We do not continuously track your location.
  • Communication Data: We store chat messages between users.
  • Usage Data: We collect data about how you use the App, such as screen time, user flows, and the matches our algorithm generates.
  • Device Information: We collect information about your device, such as device model, operating system, and device ID.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To match you with other users nearby.
  • To display your profile information to matched users, including shared interests, profile video and picture, and calculated match scores.
  • To store and facilitate chat communication with your matches.
  • To improve the App and personalize your experience.
  • To analyze usage patterns and trends.
  • To improve the app.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data with the following third parties:

  • Google Cloud: Our backend and storage are hosted on Google Cloud.
  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track app usage.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for up to 90 days after you delete your account. After that, your data is permanently deleted from our active systems.

6. Data Security

We use Google Cloud servers and databases, which are generally very safe. We also use secure connections for data communication between client and servers. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Peekly is intended for use by adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. We rely on app store age restrictions and birthday verification during onboarding to prevent underage users.
