We believe in a fairer, more flexible kind of car insurance, so we won’t charge you for the miles you don’t drive. With us, a fixed annual cost covers your car while it’s parked, then you just pay for the miles you drive each month.

Once you’ve taken out one of our fully comprehensive policies, plug our matchbox-sized Miles Tracker into your car, download this app and hit the road. Alternatively, if you've got a newer car that's connected to the web, you may be able to go totally trackerless - and we'll just read your miles directly from your car's mileometer.

Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The By Miles app requires data access and works best with GPS/location turned on (for tools like ‘Find My Car’ or ‘Journey Estimate’). However, it’s not necessary to have your GPS/location services switched on for the policy to work and you’ll still be able to view your journeys, providing you have an active internet connection.
