The data presented is for informational and supporting purposes only. Before heading out into the field, the user is obliged to independently verify the information and comply with the current regulations of the local forest districts.

2. SOURCES OF GOVERNMENT INFORMATION:

The application downloads and presents information from official, public, and publicly available government sources:

• Geometric data for the "Zanocuj w leśnie" program zones and the locations of tourist infrastructure come from the Forest Data Bank (BDL): https://www.bdl.lasy.gov.pl/

• Information on the level of fire risk in forests is developed by the Forest Research Institute (IBL) and made available by BDL: https://bazapozarow.ibles.pl/ and https://www.bdl.lasy.gov.pl/

• The regulations for the "Zanocuj w leśnie" program are based on official information from the State Forests: https://www.lasy.gov.pl/pl/turystyka/program-zanocuj-w-lesie

Legal Bushcraft is your tool for legal, safe, and responsible wild camping in Polish forests! The app was created for bushcraft enthusiasts, survivalists, tent hikers, and anyone who wants to spend the night close to nature.

It makes it easy to locate areas covered by the State Forests' "Overnight in the Forest" program, eliminating the stress of camping in unauthorized areas.

KEY FEATURES OF THE APP:

• Quick zone detector (GPS): Instantly verifies your location and provides a clear answer: "You are in the zone" or "You are outside the zone."

• Compass and direction indicator: If you are outside the zone, the app will show the distance and exact direction to the nearest legal area. The integrated compass with a needle will help you orient yourself.

• Interactive map with zones: Visualizes the boundaries of the State Forests' zones. It allows you to easily check exactly where you are allowed to camp.

• Offline mode: The app allows you to download map tiles around your location, allowing you to navigate and view the zones without internet access. • Current fire hazard: The app downloads data on the fire hazard level (scale 0–3) developed by the Forest Research Institute (IBL). • Rules for using gas stoves: Based on the current fire hazard level, the app provides general guidelines for using stoves (e.g., a ban on level 3). Note: The final decision is made by each forest district individually – always check local regulations before departure.
