Mello follows data-minimization principles and keeps you in control. Media access is requested only when you update your profile photo, create a post, or attach media to a message. Android system pickers are prioritized so you can select individual items without granting broad library access. Mello does not scan your device in the background or upload media you have not selected. You can manage your profile, posts, conversations, visibility, and privacy preferences inside the app.
