Digital reading mode

The digital reading mode with images adapts optimally to the screen size of your device. This also enables comfortable reading on smaller devices such as smartphones. You open the digital reading mode by tapping the article in PDF mode. Digital reading mode offers a number of options, described below.

Variable text size

In digital reading mode, you can choose your preferred letter size using a slider.

Night mode (dark mode)

The digital reading mode has a night mode (light text against a dark background) for reading that is easy on the eyes.

Read-aloud function

You can have the articles read aloud to you in digital reading mode. With the help of a text-to-speech system (TTS), the article texts in our magazines are converted into acoustic speech output.

Text-based table of contents

You will find a text-based table of contents in digital reading mode. This supplements the previous table of contents with preview images of the pages and the booklet's table of contents with jump marks.

You can quickly and easily purchase individual issues of the publications in the app and take out a subscription for 3, 6 or 12 months.

The app subscription will automatically renew after the selected term has expired unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancellation is possible via the Google Play Store app in the menu item “Account --> Subscriptions”.
