DIEDROS is an interactive learning and spatial visualization tool designed to demystify the study of Technical Drawing, with an emphasis on the projective elements studied in Descriptive Geometry. The application's main objective is to help you develop spatial vision, allowing for a fluid transition between three-dimensional (3D) models and their respective orthographic projections on two-dimensional (2D) planes. The application uses the metaphor of the famous "Glass Box" (or Projection Cube) so that you can visualize the part suspended inside a transparent box. Each face of this box functions as a projection plane where the shadows (contours/orthographic views) of the part are projected. 🎯 Technological and Didactic Advantages: Robust Part Library (35 Models): A wide range of geometric solids and models for practical study, covering everything from simple geometries to complex parts. Interactive 3D Engine (Three.js + GSAP): Fluid visualization, free rotations, real-time opacity control (continuous switching between wireframe and solid), material control (roughness, metallicity), and high-quality transitions. Dynamic "Glass Box" Planning: The functionality to fold and unfold projection planes in real time unveils the biggest challenge for technical drawing students: understanding the transition from a three-dimensional object (space) to a two-dimensional projection (epure). Integrated Technical Standards (1st and 3rd Dihedrals): Full support for ABNT/ISO standards (1st Dihedral, Brazilian/European standard) and ANSI standards (3rd Dihedral, American standard). Augmented Reality (ARCore + Sceneview): Projection of dihedrals and 3D models directly into the user's real environment via the mobile phone camera. Embedded Didactics: Interactive visual explanation of the origin of the projection symbol from a truncated cone. Export Features: Automatic generation of technical drawings in PDF format with standard orthographic projections and high-resolution screenshot capture.
