With the Shinkin Passbook app, you can check your account balance and deposit/withdrawal details.

In addition, by using the passbook-less function, you no longer need a passbook and can check up to 10 years' worth of statements from the app.

■Customers who can use the service

This is applicable to individual customers who have a savings account with a Shinkin bank and use a cash card with that account. (Internet banking contract is not required.)

■How to use

For first-time registration, please enter your Shinkin bank savings account information (personal information such as branch number and account number), cash card PIN number, and set a password to use with the Shinkin Passbook app.

In addition, with the Shinkin Passbook app, you can register up to 5 accounts per shinkin bank and 5 shinkin banks as long as the accounts belong to the same name.

■Functions available

[Function 1: Deposit and withdrawal details inquiry function]

You can check the "deposit balance" and "deposit/withdrawal details" of the account registered in the Shinkin Passbook app.

Deposit/withdrawal details will display the most recent 10 transactions from the past 62 days including the date of inquiry.

[Function 2: Passbook-less function]

・For accounts using the passbook-less function, transactions for the past 10 years including the date of inquiry will be displayed.

*Transactions that can be displayed are transactions that were not recorded in the passbook at the time of signing the contract for the passbook-less function for the first time, and transactions that occurred after the contract implementation date.

-You can enter a memo of up to 20 characters for each transaction.

- You can narrow down your search by specifying conditions such as transaction period and amount.

- You can output the filtered details to a CSV file.

[Function 3: Fixed deposit transaction function]

・You can deposit and cancel fixed deposits from the app.

-You can check the details of all term deposits held by the customer at the same branch as the savings account registered in this app.

*Usage of the fixed deposit transaction function differs depending on each credit union, so please check with your credit union for details.

[Function 4: Fixed deposit transaction function]

・You can open a regular deposit account from the app.

・You can check the details of all fixed deposits held by the customer at the same branch as the savings account registered in this app.

[Function 5: Owned assets inquiry function]

・You can inquire about the "held assets" of customers who have registered with the Shinkin Passbook app.

*Usage of the asset inquiry function differs depending on each credit union, so please check with your credit union for details.

[Function 6: Loss notification function]

・If you lose your "passbook" or "cash card" for an account registered in the Shinkin Passbook app, you can apply to suspend its use.

[Function 7: Address change function]

・You can apply to change the address and phone number of customers registered with the Shinkin Passbook app.

■Notes

-Using and downloading the Shinkin Passbook app, as well as using the web, will incur separate communications charges that will be borne by the customer (including communications charges for resetting, etc.).

・Please take security measures such as installing security software to prevent your smartphone from being infected with computer viruses or malicious programs.

- If you enter incorrect input items a certain number of times in a row when using this service, you will not be able to use this service. If you are no longer able to use the service, please contact your credit union.

-For accounts using the passbook-less function, you will no longer be able to make transactions using your passbook at Shinkin Bank counters and ATMs.

・If you wish to cancel the passbook-less function and have a paper passbook reissued, please visit the Shinkin bank you are using and complete the procedures.

・There may be times when the service is unavailable due to system maintenance etc. Thank you for your understanding.
