Our Vision

As a Christian dating app, we believe that marriage was instituted by God as a sacred bond between a man and a woman, as part of His plan for each of us. It's about much more than just love and romance. In Genesis 2:18, God says, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a Helper suitable for him." God Himself brings people together in His own time (!). Sometimes we experience His plans as a limitation, and sometimes it's not always easy to wait for His time. But who else but the God who created us knows how we can achieve our destiny? The Bible teaches us that God has our best interests at heart: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Through Jesus, we can even say, "Abba, Father," to the Creator of heaven and earth!

Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 6:14: "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers." We believe this warning about being unequally yoked also applies to marriage, and that Christians should not marry people of other faiths. In a country where the number of churches is declining, where everyone has less and less time for social activities, and where the internet offers us ever more opportunities, we want to help unmarried Christians meet other Christian singles—for a serious relationship, but also for fellowship and faith development.

In Mark 10:9, Jesus says of marriage: "What God has joined together, let no man separate." This indicates how much God values marriage. Unfortunately, it also exposes our brokenness, when we consider the divorce rates, even among Christians. Therefore, we believe that every relationship is worth fighting for. Therefore, you can only register with us if you are truly single—and not if you are, for example, "almost divorced" or legally separated.

Many Christians are hesitant to sign up for dating apps, thinking they're taking God's place. They prefer to wait for the Lord's guidance, even when it comes to their life partner. We understand that. But one doesn't exclude the other. "Ora et labora," the monks once said—pray and work. We believe that dating sites are used by God to bring Christian singles together.
