When creating a mountain climbing plan, you can check the gradient strength of the climbing route, the walking intensity of the planned route, weather information, sunrise and sunset times, etc. During the climb, even if you are out of communication range, you can check your current location using a climbing map downloaded in advance and a GPS satellite, and you can use the navigation during the climb and share your walking location with emergency contacts registered in advance.

・The mountain and nature network Compass has created a new common sense for mountain climbing, where climbing plans created on the website (https://www.mt-compass.com/) or the EX app can be shared with family and friends, and after climbing, a descent notification is sent.

・In the event of an emergency, the network is connected to the police and local governments, so in the event of an accident or distress, it can be used to quickly respond to rescue searches.

●You can create route plans using mountain climbing maps created using Geospatial Information Authority of Japan maps in the following ways.

・As a recommended feature for beginners, when you tap the icon of the mountain peak you plan to climb, the recommended route for the outbound and return routes will be displayed, so you can select a route and create a plan.

・For general climbing routes, in route creation mode, you can set a walking route by tapping the entry point, intermediate point, and descent point on the map route in sequence, or by tracing the route line with your finger and connecting them.

・For variation routes such as alpine climbing and gorge climbing, you can specify your own route by tracing the map with your finger in route creation mode. It is also possible to combine it with general hiking trails.

・You can download unlimited maps of the area around the planned climbing route to the app before climbing.

・Even if you are out of communication range during climbing, you can check your current location by GPS on the downloaded climbing map, and you can share that location information with family and friends.

*The app's web map will not be displayed when you are out of communication range. We recommend downloading the map in a Wi-Fi environment before climbing.

●Mountain climbing record editing function
