A panorama invites you to take a virtual walk through the woods and discover its inhabitants. Animals, plants, fungi, flowers, and native species are presented with illustrations, and you can listen to animal sounds. A tree game and a forest quiz playfully impart knowledge about the forest. Interactive graphics show how forests are cared for and preserved, supplemented by a wealth of information on sustainable forestry. How tall is a tree? An illustrated guide makes measuring tree height child's play. Links to further information and downloads are thematically organized.

The Forest Primer app has been completely redesigned. It contains the content of the printed Forest Primer and makes it accessible through play. It is aimed at everyone interested in forests and nature, especially children, schools, and extracurricular educational institutions.

The small forest guide is also available as a printed brochure, which can be ordered free of charge via the BMLEH website. A link to the publication is included in the app.
