mZUS

The mZUS mobile app allows you to view selected information available in your [insured person] or [beneficiary] eZUS account. With the app:

→ you will apply for benefits from the Active Parent program, i.e.:

a) active parents at work – the benefit is due if you and the person with whom you are raising a child aged 12 to 35 months are professionally active and the child does not attend a nursery or preschool,

b) active in a nursery – the benefit is due if the child attends a nursery or children's club or is under the care of a daycare provider,

c) active at home – the benefit is due for a child aged 12 to 35 months,

→ you will inform about new circumstances regarding the Active Parent program benefit,

→ you will submit an application for the Good Start 300+ benefit and the 800+ parental benefit,

→ you will appeal against the decision regarding the Good Start 300+ benefit, the 800+ parental benefit, or the Active Parent program benefit to the President of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS),

→ you will withdraw your application for the Good Start 300+ benefit and 800+ child benefit,

→ Send an attachment to your selected benefit application for family benefits,

→ Check the status of submitted applications,

→ Create a certificate with your insurance or benefit details,

→ Read messages for the mZUS application and notifications (i.e., messages that have appeared in your eZUS account), as well as correspondence from the ZUS Customer Contact Center,

→ Act on behalf of the person who granted you authorization to use eZUS,

→ Make an authenticated phone call to the ZUS hotline (ZUS Customer Contact Center),

→ Book an e-visit (online visit) and an in-person visit to any ZUS office,

→ Use the pension calculator to calculate your projected pension according to the new rules (if you have not yet been granted a pension from ZUS),

→ View information about your medical certificates (e-ZLA),

→ view data on insurance and contributions, benefits, and pensions and disability benefits.

Before installing the app

Make sure you have an eZUS account and it is active. Information on how to create an eZUS account can be found at www.zus.pl.

App activation

Install mZUS on your chosen device and connect the app to your eZUS account.

1. Log in to eZUS: https://www.zus.pl/ezus/logowanie.

2. Go to your individual account, and then select Settings from the left-hand menu.

3. Select "Connected apps and devices." You will see a screen with a list of mobile devices linked to your eZUS account.

4. To add a new device, click "Add device."

5. A QR code image (to be scanned) and a string of characters (to be manually entered) containing the activation code will be displayed on the screen.

6. Launch the app on your mobile device. 7. Read the terms and conditions for using the mobile app.

8. Scan the QR code generated on eZUS or enter the code manually.

Note: Before scanning the QR code, allow the mobile app to access your camera.

9. Enter the verification code you receive into the eZUS access recovery channel you set up, i.e., your phone number or email address.

10. Set a four-digit PIN and start using the app.
