Bankje is an app that lets you discover, rate, and add public benches throughout the Netherlands. Whether you are walking, cycling, or on the go, you can always see which benches are nearby and what others think of them.

What can you do?

View tens of thousands of public benches on an interactive map. Find a nice spot nearby or check ahead where you can take a break along the way.

⭐ Rate benches

Rate comfort, views, and surroundings. Read other people's experiences and join the conversation in the comments.

📍 Add new benches

Is a bench missing from the map? Easily add it when you are there. Take a photo, answer a few short questions, and help make the map more complete.

❤️ Save favorites

Save your favorite benches so you can easily find them again later. 🏳️ Clans

Join a clan or start one yourself. Claim benches, work together, and compete with other clans for the top spot on the leaderboard.

🪙 Earn Zitcoins

Earn virtual coins by adding benches, leaving reviews, and logging in daily. Use them to start a clan, claim benches, or other items in the shop.

View leaderboards, discover other users' profiles, vote on new ideas for the app, and nominate special benches.

Bankje uses your location for some features. This way, you see benches nearby and can only review or add benches when you are actually there. Some of the map and data is also available offline.
