The Bezahlkarte - the app for managing the PayCenter Bezahlkarte

You can manage your Prepaid Mastercard with the app Bezahlkarte. The app provides you with an overview of the available balance and the card limits. If you have any questions, you can get help in over 100 languages. Please note that you can only use the app if you have a PayCenter Bezahlkarte.

Overview of your Bezahlkarte

• Balance management

o Check your balance.

• View cash limits

o View the cash withdrawal limits set by your local government.

o Check the amount of cash withdrawals you still have available this month.

• View the area of use of the card

o View the area of use (postal codes) for your card, which is defined by the local government.

o A region can include several neighboring postal code areas. A postal code area includes all postal codes that have the same first two digits.

• Public Transport (ÖPNV)

o You can use your card to buy tickets for public transport.

Transactions

• Transaction overview

o View the transactions of your card (top-ups, payments, rejections, cash withdrawals).

o Read information on payments & rejections in different languages.

Security

• Prevent unwanted debits: in the "Security status" tab, you can temporarily block your card to prevent all payments. As soon as you want to use the card again, you can unblock it again.

• Ideal if you lose your card to prevent transactions. If the card is found again, it can be unblocked independently.

Transfers to authorized merchants

• Transfers are possible in the tab of the same name in the app

• These can only be made to authorized merchants.

Community of need

• If your card is assigned to a community of need, you will receive an overview of the members you manage and their cards.

• The withdrawal limits of the cards in the self-managed community of need can be adjusted via the main card.

Support in over 100 languages

• Our chat bot will answer all your questions in your preferred language.

• Ask your question in your local language and the chat bot will answer you in exactly that language.

• PayCenter updates the answers regularly to always provide you with the latest information.
