Kisan Sarathi

Kisan Sarathi Farmer App is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It is implemented by Digital India Corporation (DIC) and the Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI).

The app connects farmers with agricultural experts, enabling them to receive region-specific, multimedia advisories on agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and fisheries. It also provides weather updates, market prices, and information on government schemes through integration with various public platforms. The Kisan Sarathi Farmer App aims to empower farmers through personalised support, expert consultations, and knowledge sharing.
