Features and content:

+ More regional news: Current and local news from your chosen region – now with even more options in the "Local" section. Note: If the "Local" section remains empty, please clear the app cache via the settings and reinstall the app.

+ Multi-selection: In sections with drop-down menus, you can select multiple items simultaneously, e.g., news from Gießen 46er and HSG Wetzlar.

+ Convenient navigation that allows quick and easy access to relevant pages within the app (e.g., the homepage, watchlist, or other content elements such as podcasts, videos, or thematic focuses).

+ Font size adjustment: The font size can be adjusted at any time, both within the article (via the icon in the upper right corner) and via the menu settings under "Change font size."

+ Push notifications: Stay up-to-date and subscribe to your favorite topics as push notifications. After the update, please check the settings for push notifications (top right of the menu > Settings > Push notifications). The bell icon opens an inbox that collects all new push notifications for you.

+ Reading List: Save articles for later and read them when you have time and peace.

+ News Widget: Add the news widget to your smartphone's home screen. This way, you stay informed without having to open the app and can jump directly to articles you want to learn more about.

+ National and international news from the areas of sports, your favorite club, politics, business, and culture.

Easy to Use:

+ When you first launch the news app, select your preferred region. The app's content will adjust automatically.

+ In the second step, you'll be asked about your preferred push notification channels. You'll later receive news directly on your device for the categories you've selected.

+ You can change your region and push notification channels at any time via the settings menu.
