- For optimal functionality and security, we recommend keeping your app and operating system up to date.

- Data transmission between your device and the bank is encrypted. Locally stored data is also protected.

- An access password, biometric authentication, and an automatic timeout provide additional security for your financial data.

- An integrated password indicator helps you choose a secure app password.

★ Notes

- The BW-Bank app allows access to accounts at various German banks and savings banks. After setting up a BW-Bank account, you can add other activated online banking accounts (HBCI or FinTS with PIN/TAN).

- For account opening verification, the app requires access to your camera and microphone to securely and seamlessly perform the legally required identity check.
