WK News

With the WK News app you receive the latest news from your region, Germany and the world. This means you always know what is happening in your home country and the world - whether in business, politics or sport.

The WK News contains all news from the Wiesbadener Kurier's distribution area (including Wiesbaden, AKK, Rüdesheim, Eltville).

Functional scope and content:

+ More regional news: Current and local news from your desired region – select your locations in the “Local” section, we will keep you up to date.

+ Multiple selection: In the departments with a drop-down menu you can select several contents in parallel, e.g. news from Eintracht Frankfurt or SV Wehen Wiesbaden. This allows you to tailor the app to your needs.

+ Practical navigation that enables quick and easy navigation to relevant pages in the app (e.g. the home page, watch list or other content elements such as podcasts, videos or thematic focus).

+ Push messages: Decide for yourself which topics you want to know everything about. We collect current push notifications in your inbox.

+ Watch list: Save articles for later and then read them when you have time and peace.

+ Share article: Share joy, excitement and information with your loved ones with just one click.

+ Font size function: Is the text too small for you to read on your smartphone? No problem, you can change the font size in just two steps.

+ News widget: Load the news widget onto the home screen of your smartphone. This way you stay informed without having to open the app and can jump directly to articles you want to find out more about.

+ National news from the areas of sports, my top club, politics, business and culture.

Easy to use:

+ When you start the app for the first time, select your desired region. The content in the Messages app adapts automatically.

+ In the second step you will be asked for your desired push channels. You will later receive messages directly to your device for the categories you have selected.

+ You can change the region and the push channels at any time using the Settings menu item.
