PosteID

PosteID is the official Poste Italiane app for the new digital identity that allows you to access public administration services and private individuals participating in the Public Digital Identity System (SPID).

REGISTRATION WITH ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT

If you have an electronic document—an identity card (CIE) or passport—you can use the PosteID app to verify your identity online, without having to visit a post office.

PASSWORD-LESS ACCESS VIA QR CODE

You can authorize access requests using a QR Code. Simply scan the QR Code on the service login page and enter your PosteID code into the app.

ACCESS WITH FINGERPRINT

You can quickly authorize access using your fingerprint as an alternative to the PosteID code.

SPID LEVEL 3 ACCESS

To authorize access to services requiring SPID 3, you must have a SPID 3 PIN. To obtain it, log in to your personal area at https://posteid.poste.it

USE THE APP AS A PIN GENERATOR

You can also access services with a temporary PIN generated in the app, even if the app is offline.

Once you have generated the PIN, enter it on the service login page after entering your username and password.
