"Stroke Order Dictionary" is an application that allows you to quickly search for Chinese characters using various input methods and easily check the reading and stroke order.

All registered kanji have stroke order animation and kanji information such as readings and radicals, so you can use it as a simple kanji dictionary.

With this app, you can quickly find out the reading and stroke order of the Chinese characters you care about. Correct stroke order also leads to writing beautiful characters.

Searching for Chinese characters is very easy. You can look up Chinese characters simply by writing them directly on the screen with your finger and selecting the displayed options. In addition to handwriting input, you can also search for Chinese characters from the keyboard and clipboard.

◆ Easy search

Simply write the Chinese character you want to know on the screen with your finger, and the character will be recognized and displayed immediately.

The handwriting recognition system uses Panasonic's handwriting recognition engine "Rakuhira ®", which has a proven track record in handheld game consoles.

◆ Keyboard search

Enter "Kanji" from the keyboard to search for that Kanji. Enter "reading" to see search suggestions with the same reading.

◆ Clipboard search

Imports the character string in the clipboard into the search suggestions. You can search by copying the characters displayed in another application or browser to the clipboard.

◆ Radical index

In the radical index, in addition to the radical index by the number of strokes, you can easily select the radical and display the candidate Chinese characters by directly inputting the radical by handwriting.

◆ Other indexes

You can look up Chinese characters from a list-type index such as radical index, reading index, stroke count index, division index (regular / personal name / non-regular), Kanji Kentei grade, mastery grade, and national character.

◆ Stroke order animation function

All recorded characters have a "stroke order" display function that displays the stroke order with animation. Since the Chinese characters are displayed large on the entire screen, you can easily check the Chinese characters with many strokes, such as tome and splash that were difficult to see until now.

◆ Stroke order practice

There is a "tracing" practice function that allows you to trace the parts displayed in red in order for all recorded characters. If you trace from the opposite direction, you will not be able to proceed, so you can remember the direction of writing naturally.

◆ Check stroke order

There is a stroke order "confirmation" function to check if you remember the correct stroke order for all recorded characters. Not only the stroke order but also the writing direction is checked.

You can also select an item and "confirm" the stroke order for each of the 5 questions.

◆ Sticky notes / history

You can bookmark by attaching sticky notes in Chinese characters. You can choose from 5 colors for sticky notes and add comments. You can also see the history of displaying the Chinese character details screen.

◆ Web search

You can quickly search the Internet for the searched Chinese characters and examples.

◆ Settings

In the settings, you can set the background, display the pen, stroke order, purchase add-ons that hide ads in the app, and so on. In the background setting, you can change the background color to white, black, or blackboard color.

* Textbook font is used for the stroke order display part of this product. Kanji characters such as "allowable font" that are different from the typeface used are displayed at the end of the kanji details.

* This product contains 6421 character readings and stroke order data, including all common kanji and personal name kanji.

* The stroke order is based on "Handbook of Stroke Order Guidance" (Ministry of Education, 1957), but this is just a guideline for learning stroke order, and other stroke orders are not necessarily accepted.

* This product complies with the Jōyō Kanji table announced by the Cabinet on November 30, 2010.

* This product complies with the "Kanji Dividend Table by Grade" of the elementary school curriculum guidelines that will be enforced from April 4, 2020 (Reiwa 2) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

* The indication of "Kanji Aptitude Testing Grade" used in this product is based on "Questions and Examination Criteria for Each Grade" (Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation) 2020.
