New users receive starter coins to try check-ins and unlocks. Ongoing check-ins and catalog unlocks use a small coin balance; you can add coins via Apple In-App Purchase on the Get Coins screen. Coins are consumable in-app currency only—no cash-out, no gambling, no loot boxes.
