Meet Gazin

From a small store opened 55 years ago in Douradina, in the interior of Paraná, Gazin emerged, one of the largest companies in Brazil, with more than 300 retail stores in 9 states, in addition to 5 mattress and upholstery industries, 1 springs and 13 merchandise distribution centers. Mr. Mário Gazin, 16 years old at the time, worked in one of the many stores that suffered from the financial crisis that was ravaging the country. Upon learning of the owner's intention to sell the establishment, Mário immediately recognized a business opportunity. His vision of the future was shared with his father Alfredo Gazin, who, without wasting time, handed over the family's jeep and part of the farm where they lived in exchange for the store. Seeing opportunity where many only saw crisis, Mário started Gazin's success story on December 13, 1966.

This successful trajectory was only possible thanks to the company's general concept: “Always doing the best for you”. Much more than a slogan, this philosophy is lived out daily by the more than 9000 employees of the Group. Therefore, for several consecutive years, Gazin has been recognized as one of the best companies to work for in Brazil, according to the Great Place to Work Institute, in addition to numerous other national and international titles and awards.
