The R-mail app is a free mail service app that can be used by customers who subscribe to Rakuten Mobile (docomo line / au line). We provide the domain of "@ rakuten.jp".

* The service name of "Rakuten Mail" has changed from June 1, 2021 (Tuesday). Only the service name has changed, and there is no change in the service content you are currently using. In addition, you can continue to use the email reception settings as they are.

* When logging in to Gmail from the R-mail app, an error has occurred. We are currently investigating the cause.

■ Main functions

-You can use any of the two modes, simple folder mode and convenient chat mode.

・ Rakuten points can be earned by completing the "Rakuten Rewards" mission.

-We pursued operability so that anyone can use it easily. Setting up an account also eliminates the difficulty.

-You can easily manage the mail of other companies' mail services (Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, Goo mail, Nifty, iCloud, Hotmail, AOL, etc.) that you are already using.

-You can use the familiar "pictograms" and "deco-mail" on conventional mobile phones for free.

■ Setting method

You can use multiple mail services with one mailer by clicking "Add new account" from "Account selection" of the R mail application and entering the mail server setting information provided by each company. .. You can use up to 5 email accounts at the same time.

■ How to use

1. 1. Please register your favorite e-mail address at Rakuten Mobile's Members Station.

2. Please install this application. Compatible with Android OS Ver.5.0 or later.

3. 3. Open the installed R-mail app and enter the email address and password you registered in 1.

The R-mail app has a contract with Rakuten Mobile SIM and can be used on smartphones equipped with Android OS Ver.5.0 or later.

■ Notes

･ The initial password used for R-mail is the same as the password used when logging in to Members Station. If you want to change your R-mail password, please go to "Change password for free e-mail address" in Rakuten Mobile "Members Station". Please note that even if you change the login password of the members station after you start using R-mail, the R-mail password will not be changed.

・ Customers using R-mail have pointed out that the reception notification (PUSH notification) is not working properly. In the following cases, the operation may be delayed or the operation itself may not occur. If necessary, change the settings of the terminal you are using.

1) Restriction of background communication by OS setting menu If this setting is made, you will not be able to receive new arrival notifications in the background.

2) Executing the power saving mode of the terminal's unique function If you restrict the communication of the background application, you will not be able to receive new arrival notifications.

3) Forced termination of background app by task killer app, etc. Since the app cannot be started in the background, new arrival notifications cannot be received. In both cases, allowing background communication of Rakuten Mail will improve the execution of PUSH notifications.
