Recover the Files You Need

DataSphere follows a user-controlled recovery process. You choose what to scan, start the recovery search, inspect the available results, and decide which files to restore. The app does not automatically save every detected item.

Supported File Types

DataSphere can look for commonly used file formats, including:

A Simple Recovery Process

1. Select the type of file you want to find.

2. Start a scan of the available device storage.

3. Review the items detected during the scan.

4. Select the files you want to recover.

5. Save the selected files back to your device.

DataSphere may be useful after accidental deletion, missing media, mistakenly removed documents, or other situations where file data may remain recoverable. Starting a scan soon after deletion may improve the chance of finding useful results because deleted data can be overwritten as the device continues to be used.

Storage Access and Privacy

Storage access is used only for recovery functions initiated by the user. Broader storage access may be required because standard file selection APIs provide access only to user-selected or indexed files and do not support a complete recovery scan.

Scanning and recovery processing take place on the device. Files are not uploaded for recovery, and storage access is not used for advertising, ad targeting, or unrelated personalization.

Recovery Status Notifications

Some scans and recovery operations may take time. DataSphere may display a persistent foreground notification so you can see that the task is still running after leaving the app. Notifications are limited to recovery progress, status, and completion information.

Important Recovery Information

Recovery results depend on device storage conditions, the time since deletion, and whether the original data has been overwritten. DataSphere cannot guarantee that every deleted file will be detected or restored. Supported formats and recoverability may also vary by device and Android version.
