Manoa

The medical app "Manoa" helps you to control your blood pressure and lead a healthy lifestyle. With Manoa, you have a "digital coach" at your side who supports you in measuring your blood pressure correctly and gives you personal recommendations on your readings and progress.

Manoa is certified by the German Hypertension League. The app is based on the medical guidelines for high blood pressure and is being further developed together with doctors from Hannover Medical School.

To use Manoa, you will need your own blood pressure monitor (list of blood pressure monitors with a seal of accuracy: https://www.hochdruckliga.de/betroffene/blutdruckmessgeraete).

Manoa helps you to document your blood pressure values in accordance with guidelines and in a structured manner, reminds you of measurements and medication, and gives you specific recommendations on recommended measures.

Manoa is a chatbot and accompanies you through your everyday life. She asks you questions in an interactive chat and tries to tailor your blood pressure support to your needs. It motivates you to set goals, guides you and gives you valuable information about your health.

Blood pressure monitoring

Manoa supports you in documenting your blood pressure readings and reminds you to take them. Manoa derives recommendations for you based on your values. You can export and send the diaries and charts as a PDF at any time.

Medication

Manoa gives you weekly feedback on your medication adherence and works with you to develop strategies for taking your medication regularly.

Blood glucose diary

If you have type 2 diabetes, Manoa helps you to keep a diary of your blood sugar levels.

Sleep diary

Manoa supports you in keeping a sleep diary to get to know your sleep better. It also helps you get back to sleep as part of a sleep restriction.

You will receive your personal health plan with individual goals for nutrition, exercise and relaxation.
