Scaffold Up

Scaffold Up is a scaffolding configuration planner and safety inspection log for construction sites. It is built for scaffolders, site managers, and principal contractors who need to plan a scaffold build, produce a component specification, and maintain a legally defensible record of inspection and clearance status.

The application tracks the assembly configuration — bays, lifts, duty class, and site conditions — and derives the component count for standards, ledgers, transoms, braces, boards, and base plates from that configuration. Tie and anchor point requirements are calculated against the facade area and height, with wind exposure factored in where declared.

At the centre of the application is a safety clearance system. Each scaffold or lift holds a digital scaff-tag that is issued green only after a structured inspection checklist has been completed and passed. Where any item fails — base condition, bracing, board coverage, edge protection, ties, or access — the tag remains red and the record shows exactly what must be rectified before work at height can proceed. Inspection intervals are tracked, and the Application issues reminders when a tag is due for re-examination or when a weather event requires an unscheduled recheck.
