nanacara is an app that allows children with epilepsy and their families to record and manage their seizure records, medication history, and daily physical condition.

There is also a function that allows you to share the saved records with family members, including fathers, so please use this app as a way to monitor your child's records as a family in their daily life.

◆ Continuing development together with patients and their families

When developing nanacara, we considered its functions together with children with epilepsy and their families, and made adjustments to its usability based on the actual usage scenarios, as well as a way to continue recording even during busy days.

I think there are still some features that are missing and things that are not perfect, but I would like to listen to your feedback through inquiries and other means so that we can develop an even better service.

◆ Introduction of main functions

The main functions of nanacara are [seizure recording function], [medication history function], and [function to connect with a doctor].

① Seizure recording function

Regarding the seizure recording function, we are developing the app's functions with emphasis on being able to record sudden seizures with just one tap and recording them in detail so that you can consult your doctor.

For this reason, we have prepared the following four types of recording methods according to the seizure situation, so we would appreciate it if you could record your daily seizures using the recording method that is easy to use.

・[Video seizure recording]: You can record seizures using videos, timers, and notes.

・[Timer seizure recording]: You can record seizures using a timer and memo.

・[One-tap seizure recording]: If you register frequently occurring seizures in advance, you can record the time of seizure occurrence with one tap. There is no problem if you close the app after tapping.

・[Collective seizure record]: You can record the time of occurrence of past seizures at once. You can also save seizure records that you have recorded in notebooks etc. in the app.

② Past records also include medication history function

With the medication history function, you can record and view ``what medications you are currently taking'' and ``when and what medications you have taken in the past'' regarding antiepileptic drugs prescribed after a medical examination.

Please use it to check the number of seizures compared to the medication you are taking, or to inform your doctor during a medical examination.

③ Function to connect with Dr.

nanacara collaborates with epilepsy specialists at over 150 facilities nationwide.

With the function to connect with a doctor, you can share recorded seizure videos and seizure records with the doctor during consultations at partner hospitals that have introduced "nanacara for Doctor," and you can check the recorded data while examining the patient.

Through this function, we hope to make it easier to share what you notice in your daily records and seizure conditions that are difficult to report to your doctor.

We have developed this function with the hope that you can consult with your doctor about the best treatment for your child based on the recorded data, such as comparing past anti-epileptic drug history with the graphs on the seizure management screen.
