The Iqro book is a textbook used by Muslim communities in several countries to learn to read and pronounce Arabic letters.

Iqro was compiled by As'ad Humam and the "AMM Tadarus Team." Published in the early 1990s,

Iqro is intended as a stepping stone to reading the Quran in its original language and developing Quranic reading skills.

Iqro is typically studied by those who are just beginning to learn to read the Quran and is commonly used in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), prayer rooms (surau), and mosques.

The Iqro method, in practice, does not require various tools; instead, it emphasizes reading (fluently reciting the Quranic surahs).

Reading is straightforward without spelling. Instead, the names of the Hijaiyah letters are introduced.

The Iqro Digital app, starting with Iqro 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and Iqro 6, is now available.

This application is designed to increase interest in learning and is expected to facilitate users who want to learn to recite the Quran and read it.

This application can be used on smartphones and tablets, making it portable.

The Iqro Learning app has six levels of learning, from Iqro 1 to Iqro 6.

Description:

- Iqro 1: Learn the Hijaiyah letters from Alif to Ya, with the fathah ('a') reading.

- Iqro 2: Learn the connected letters and long readings (mad asli/thobi'i).

- Iqro 3: Learn the kasroh ('i') and dhommah ('u') readings, long readings, and their variations.

- Iqro' 4: Learn the tanwin readings: fathatain ('an'), kasrotain ('in'), and dhommatain ('un'), as well as the dead readings (sukun), dead nun, qolqolah, and their variations.

- Iqro' 5: Learn the readings of waqf, tasydid, mad jaiz munfasil, mad wajib muttasil, mad biasa kilmi mutsaqqol, idzhar, idgham, the law of dead mim, etc.

- Iqro' 6: Learn iqlab, ikhfa, the sign of waqf (stopping), various variations of letters that are waqfed, recognition and how to read the first few letters of the surahs in the Quran, etc.

- OFFLINE application, can run without an internet connection or with an internet connection.
